It actually does keep most people from getting it. It's just that the same CDC that fucked up the testing kits, and nearly every other responsibility it had during this pandemic is now being dishonest about how if you've been vaccinated you don't need to wear a mask period.

Indoors, outdoors it doesn't fucking matter but due to the fact that the CDC thinks people are stupid and can't make choices on their own, they are now lying about the need to keep your mask on even after you've been vaccinated.

It’s really just game theory. Give people no incentive to take on an unknown risk vs a very low known risk where you don’t have to do anything and the known risk gets smaller each day and you get hesitancy.

Problem is it's not necessarily "amping up" your immune system, but supplanting it, rendering your natural immune system stale and out of date. Read up on Vaccine-Dependent Immunity. The manufacturers of these vaccines aren't sure where this shit is going in the near or long terms, but I'm putting my money on Evolution versus Science for Profit and Control, for now.

So, if you are over 65 you are already dealing with a failing immune system. So, get the jab. Giving it to a healthy 12 year old is scientific and child abuse. Just give temporary FDA approval for the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.

Agreed that therapeutics are the best long term answer. Once it was clear that there wasn’t a hospital supply chain issue (a fucking year ago), this is where the focus should have gone and the money be spent.
