Official Round 1 victors in the Sex Work is Work! Tournament

1 over 16- Gina Valentina Cruised to an easy victory. There were some murmurs in the crowd about if she deserved to be the number 1 overall seed but she took care of business in round one.
2 over 15- Leah Gotti Facing perhaps the strongest 15 seed in this tournaments history in Valentina Nappi, Nappi made a late run to make the score look close but this one was never in doubt.
3 over 14- Autumn Falls A strong performance but not dominant. There’s a lot of talk that Falls played it safe in an easy first round matchup but is looking to break out a very strong gif game for a deep run in the tournament.
13 over 4- Apolonia Lapiedra UPSET CITY BABY!!!! We saw the favorite Jynx Maze come out bombing gifs from all over the court early but she got overconfident and the gifs stopped falling. And while Apolonia’s photo game is old fashioned, she has mastered the art. She held off a late run by Jynx and is now looking to crown herself Cinderella.
5 over 12- Canela Skin In the classic 5-12 trap game, took care of business. Little Caprice, the last team in, had a respectable showing but Ms.Skin had on her pant suit today.
6 over 11- Violet Starr There was some chatter in the media of this being a possible upset spot. Keisha Grey brought in a unique look and strong gif game but she was completely overwhelmed by Starr. This one was never close.
10 over 7- Gia Derza Our most controversial game of the day. This matchup saw the committee vote for the 10 seed over the 7, which makes no sense because the committee had literally just seeded the girls. When reached for comment the committee said “things looked a certain way on paper but when you get into the game, anything can happen”.
9 over 8- Veronica Rodriguez This one was not even as close as it appeared. The committee felt it had to vote for the higher seed, after having just voted for the 10 over the 7. The better team won.
Moving on to the Elite Eight, the matchups are

Two double digit seeds remain but the competition only gets stiffer. One thing is clear, there are no more gimmies and everyone needs to bring their A game.
