Anyway, I saw it Downtown about a week later. I was on my lunch break and thought about calling the police, but I doubt anyone would come for a missing bike. If someone did, it would take an hour, and there wasn't enough time for that.

If they were truly leaving it up to the reader to draw their own conclusions I wouldn’t have a problem with it but the ground is already so prepared for any racial disparities in law enforcement to be interpreted as racism there’s no way that’s not the message they were trying to convey
