He didn't say he needed sports to pander to his political views. You completely missed the point.
The wokeness in sports (and elsewhere) is extremely political and divisive. Sports should be about competition, learning how to be be part of a team, learning the importance of self improvement especially when others are counting on you, learning how to lead, learning how to win, learning self reflection after failing, and a whole lot more without being about jamming political views down everyone's throats. I'm with @EsophagealFeces on this one. I'm done. I'll pay attention again when/if we get to a point where sports aren't being used as a political platform. For now fuck them, fuck them all. -
