Say Alabama passes some law prohibiting trans folks from participating in sports. UW could then go to Alabama for a football game with a walk-on second string kicker who is FtM or MtF trans. UW could then say: (1) We are here ready to play. (2) The NCAA says we can have a trans individual on our team. (3). We have a trans individual on our team. (4). The State of Alabama says all of our team members are not allowed to participate in Alabama. Thus, we, UW, are entitled to a forfeit victory.

NCAA says it does not permit discrimination of that agains trans individuals anymore than it would permit discrimination based on skin color. So - for NCAA purposes: forfeit.

So basically every team recruits a walk on trans individual and puts them on the travel team roster when they go to Alabama. In this hypothetical, Alabama forfeits all its home games which means it also is giving up all that revenue from ticket sales, and media rights. And - every kid who wants to play transfers because Alabama can’t play in any bowl or tournament.

In your hypothetical, did you account for the fact that the single most important thing in Alabama is Alabama, and that any such law would contain a foreign athlete exception to the ban that would allow trans-athletes playing for visiting foreign teams to compete in the great state of Alabama? Did you think of that?

Bama doesn't forfeit or claim conference division titles. You're thinking of the Pac 12 ese.
