Mitch isn't that difficult to figure out. I've never contended he couldn't do the right thing if he sensed it was in his self-interest. He's going to condemn the right-wing, conspiratard radicalization of the GOP now because the wind appears to be changing. He got what he could from Daddy. Daddy's brand is facing challenges moving forward. Mitch ain't gonna go down with the ship if he can avoid it.
