Suggest a good local bank?

I hang my head in shame because I am still giving my hard earned money to the Bank of America grifters. I'm busy in life like everyone, and having to make sure my bank isn't my fucking enemy isn't something I usually think about.

Can anyone suggest some good local (Seattle area) banks or credit unions that aren't going to assist in taking my fucking guns away or force social justice on me? Or just plain steal my fucking money in some sort of future banking crisis?

Serious query.

    Seattle First National now BOA

Rainier Bank became Key Bank which became something else (it was the First National Bank of Commerce when my dad banked there across the street from the Spar)

    Washington Mutual now Chase

Does a local bank still exist is the question. A serious one

    Savings and Loan?

Pick a smaller credit union - BECU is too big and they act it.
One of the options CU's offer is no charge from one CU to another for ATM usage

All CUs are more conservative in loans than banks

Washington Trust Bank are good guys.

Credit unions aren't quite as big of fucks as the big banks. WSECU, BECU are the biggies. Numerica and STCU east of the mountains.

Fuck Wells Fargo. Lying fuckwads. US Bank aren't total fuckwads...yet.

    Depends on your needs.

Co-sign Washington Trust. They are a portfolio lender so not necessarily selling the paper they originate.

If you’re looking for an owner builder loan Washington Trust is tough to beat. Knowledge, experience, flexibility is important from your lender if you’re a first-time builder. Competitive fees and rates too. Start with a meaningful deposit relationship and speak face to face to a VP or higher when you start and they will point you in the right direction.

And BECU are everywhere. You can get your Doog or Coog (Hook or Mawiner too) debit card too.

BECU is probably the only brick and mortar financial institution worth anything in this thread and that’s only if you want the hipster UW debit card because your credit sucks too much to get an elite card with AMEX or Chase.

    Stay in your lane.

Washington Trust blows BECU out of the water in any number of ways.

So as per usual, like we say, fuck off.

Wa Trust will be good until the current executive team has time to completely fuck it up.

Can I still tell @CentristMelloDawg to fuck off over there?

That's exactly who I'm talking about.
Take a look under the surface. They have lost a huge amount of brain power. People that made the bank work.
Jack Heath is a mouth breathing dick head.
