    The intention was for representatives of the people to serve ... not for government to be a career per se

    The gal that lost all Washington State's unemployment money to the Nigerian Prince scam got promoted by Biden to run the Federal level.

    Now she can lose some real money - not that chump change stuff at the state level

    I had literally never heard of the guy prior to a year ago and he was the highest paid federal government employee. Seems about right that he’d make more than the President. Biden won’t be donating his salary, by the way, even though he has millions in the Hunter slush fund.

    I was too young to care about politics then. I’m of the age where The Day After had me fearing the Soviets because of the certain nuclear war that scared the shot out of young me. My first lesson in propaganda.
