Yeah, he was reportedly home sick missing California (Long Beach). Living in the Deep South he may have experienced culture shock as well. I would expect him to pop up at one of the California Universities (UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, Long Beach State, etc) next season as he can transfer without sitting out a year for 2021-22.
