Lake said Kam Fab tackles well. Our scheme mostly eliminates big plays. Get guys that can fucking hit at safety. It’s too important of a position to have weak tacklers like Turner and to a lesser extent, Cam Williams.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Without Hampton our Db group seems small. Hopefully Kam Fab and Bookie can hit at 190lbs

If Cam Fam is 75% as good a tackler as Rapp ill be happy

I really like that Jimmy is replacing starters from last year. Having guys like Ale, Pleasant, Asa not just automatically be given their starting spots back is a good sign.
The big question is, which "starter" on the depth chart will we hate first and say "what the hell were the coaches thinking starting ______________?" -
My worry is they geek out over a couple good practices and put worse players in starting roles based off a few good plays in practice.bananasnblondes said:I really like that Jimmy is replacing starters from last year. It’s hard to find the right balance. The gamer myth Pete hated is mostly true. Most good football players are always good. That said, football can be a drain and guys aren’t always super motivated to have great practices every single time.
I hope this is a case of Kam Fab and Irvin simply being better, but the depth chart at safety has been changing three straight seasons. It would be nice to find some stalwarts that start for a few years. -
Good news is they have one preseason game to figure out if the best guys are starting or at least what you can glean from one game.RoadDawg55 said:

He was awesome vs utah and not so vs cal and oregon.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Tryon had potential but was overall nothing special.
Arians looks to be getting him to play to his potential.
Unless Cal and Oregon and Utahs 2019 offensive line was NFL calber. -
He was just coming into his own and his college career ended.AtomicDawg said:

It's stupid to evaluate him based on results alone unless you have an agenda. PGOS's agenda is to contradict DDY and Coker at every perceived opportunity. Others want to emulate them. Some want to cling to his slow start in 2019, others ignore that entirely and only see where he was at the end.
It all matters and everyone is party right. I thought Tryon was a future first rounder based in his general freakishness, but was still waiting for him to show it at UW. He didn't. I called him a bad early pick because he hadn't proven anything to me in the field even though I thought it was just a matter of time.
I was half wrong there, it seems. He's kicking ass. -
Morris. Just wait to you see Damn Huards passes in pregame warm-ups.bananasnblondes said:I really like that Jimmy is replacing starters from last year. Having guys like Ale, Pleasant, Asa not just automatically be given their starting spots back is a good sign.
