“Oregon’s offense is producing a higher rate of explosive plays than a year ago, particularly in the passing game, and it’s happening despite fewer plays per game and a higher proportion of those plays being runs compared to a year ago.

Oregon (3-1) enters this week with the most productive and highest scoring offense in the Pac-12, the conference’s most efficient passing attack, second-most prolific in the air and third on the ground. The Ducks are managing to achieve these levels of proficiency despite averaging just 65.5 plays per game, down from 68.3 last season, and ninth in the Pac-12 this season.”
