Undoing on HBO

Perhaps the most notable moment of the episode, however, is when Franklin speaks to Reardon Principal Connaver (Jeremy Shamos), who wants Frankin's grandson, Henry (Noah Jupe), homeschooled while there is ongoing investigation into Elena Alvez's (Matilda De Angelis) murder. "With the trial approaching, the distraction serves no one," Connaver says.

"I've given a lot of money to this school, Mr. Connaver, and I've always considered it a privilege to be able to do so. But make no mistake. I am a c***sucker. And I don't mean that in the sense of gay belittlement, as it's currently come to be intepreted. No. I'm an old fashioned c***sucker," he says. "The more traditional kind.

"The kind who f**ks over anyone who hurts me, or a loved one. You speak of ugliness Mr. Connaver. You have not yet met ugliness."

And Nicole Kidman

I haven’t watched the show, but Noah Jupe is about as good of a child actor I’ve ever seen. Kid is going to be huge up until the alcohol and sedative-fueled downfall.

Ford vs Ferrari, Honey Boy, A Quiet Place, now this show on HBO with Nicole Kidman. Hell of a resume for a teenager. If this were TBS, he would be a 5* recruit.

He does have a dangling earring already and you can never count out a child actor going off the rails, but he’s probably going to be an A List Actor once he’s in his 20’s.

    Fixed that for you

Haven’t been able to get into The Undoing other than to note Nichole Kidman has carved out quite the niche playing the wronged spouse.

Also - Industry is no Billions. When the Throbber turns to Mrs v2.0 and says ‘this is porn with no plot", you know it's not a great show....bunch of whiny entitled 20-somethings in London with way too much full-frontal male nudity. The chicks aren't even that hot - but decidely m'eh Lena Dunham is the producer so not surprised.

I miss Wags, Dollar Bill and Bobby.

Industry is disappointing but the future of entertainment

Undoing is basically showing Kidman deep in thought 81 percent of the time

    Sutherland steals it

I'm into The Good Lord Bird on Showtime and Perpetual Grace LTD on Epix right now.

    Get the rhythm.

A friend of mine recommended Ted Lasso on Apple TV. Jason Sudekis plays a football coach who takes Wichita State to the FCS championship and then gets hired to take over the coaching gig for an EPL soccer team on the verge of relegation. It's easy to watch, and I binged the first season in two days. There is absolutely nothing edgy about it, but it was really good.

It looks dumb to me but a friend told me that show is good.

The show is pretty much if Chris Petersen were the star of Major League.
