It’s definitely not fascist. They hit multiple points of it but fascism is a far right ideology and, while we can quibble about how left or center right they are, they are not far right. It’s not the same as Trump, who has gone so far right that he touches all 14 points.pawz said:

Tonight, we celebrate. A fascist attempted to rise in America but democracy stood tall. Tomorrow, we get to work. Joe Biden is not good enough. Liberalism is not good enough. The people in this country are struggling and so desperate for help that we saw record turnout for two of the worst presidential candidates in our history. Things must change. That change just can't be fascism, it can't be authoritarianism, it must come from the people, from democracy. We need to make things work for the average person, the worker, whether they're red or blue.

As far as authoritarian, I’m reminded of an argument I often hear against socialism. If you think they’re authoritarian, why don’t you go live an actual authoritarian state and see how it compares. -

People see whatever they want in election results. I could say the number one issue for Trump voters was the economy, backed up by exit polls. That of the dems that lost senate races, I don’t think a single one backed AOCs policies. I could point to Hillary losing in 2016 before the squad even existed. I could point to most elections in the last 20 years and how bad the libs lost. For me, I saw enough local gains combined with ousting a fascist to be content with the election. But there’s is a lot of work to do. If the best you can conjure up is some theoretical referendum, that has about as much evidence for it as Trump has for voter fraud, then you fucking lost. -
