True. Senna’s car broke at exactly the wrong time and place. Most of the greats went that way. Still, I’d rather go like he did than live like MS. NO ONE deserves that fate.

I used to have an F1 calendar hanging above my desk at work. A friend of mine and I were always big Alain Prost fans, so naturally, we hated Senna. Senna was the driver pictured for the month of April 1994. The week before the Imola GP, he dropped by my work and saw Senna on the calendar. He took a black Sharpie and colored Senna's yellow helmet black so you couldn't even see him in the car. The following Sunday, Senna hit the wall and everyone watched his death spasms on TV.
