Pac-12 Conference Postpones All Sport Competitions Through End of Calendar Year


Husky Nation,



After months of trying to balance the safety of our student-athletes with our programs’ desire to compete this fall, the Pac-12 CEO’s, upon guidance from Pac-12 Medical Advisory Committee, have made the heartbreaking decision to not hold competition through the end of 2020, and will evaluate the feasibility of a spring schedule over the coming months. We are fully supportive of the decision by the Pac-12 CEO’s, which puts the health and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans as the greatest priority. We are beyond disappointed that the traditions we’ve come to know and love won’t continue this fall, and that our beloved Huskies, who have worked so hard to prepare for this moment, won’t take the fields, courts and courses this fall.

I talk often with each of our coaches and staff members about how grateful we are for Husky Nation and for your unwavering loyalty and support. Husky Athletics is facing the greatest financial challenge we have seen in our lifetime, and are going to need our incredible fan base to come alongside us and stay All In to help continue to carry on the positive momentum we have built together on Montlake.
