Machine Head was my gateway to the harder side...underrated band (even with Ritchie)...Smoke On The Water brought me to it (name-dropping Yella’s boy), but it is packed with quality stoner-level jams...Smoke went the way of “The Beatles”, with reference to over-play...

I think Machine Head is the one album where they sound like a rival to Zeppelin.

People forget that Fagan wasn’t the full time lead singer on their first LP. Dirty Work is an all time Yacht Rock fav of mine.

Me as well. It's in the handful of Steely Dan tunes I could call my favorite.

Chin for the Watergate. Several years ago while in DC on business, I hailed a cab after midnight and had it drop me across the street from the garage where Woodward met Deep Throat. The exact spot was marked, in the bowels of the garage, two floors below street level. Water dripped and I even heard a car start a floor up and drive away. Spooky cool.

    CSB

I saw a House Hunters episode where the couple looked at a condo in the Watergate

I was going to do a gif of Operation Linebacker II but too much war imagery.

We did. We could bump that too. I was thinking more along the lines of a DC CSB thread.
