I have it on good authority that Houston has got this completely under control.
“The hospitalizations you see today, they’re not just going to linearly increase in the next two weeks,” said Dr. Clay Johnston, dean of the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. “They’re going to accelerate. When you overwhelm the hospitals, you’re in big trouble. That to me is the impossible task that the governor faces. It’s like steering a giant tanker through a tiny strait without any maps.”
“This morning I heard on the radio that 71% of South Carolina hospital beds are being used! COVID cases are increasing!! So I looked it up. What percentage of hospital beds is normally used at this time of year in SC? That would be somewhere between 69% and 70%."
Kind of important to put figures like that in context, isn't it?
There is obviously an effort afoot to keep you in a state of panic.”
Now I am typically a "deny-er" but down in Texas, I believe they actually have a problem if we are to believe their data....
Always keep in mind one thing when you see these numbers: How many more tests are being performed.
Without the data on how many more tests are being performed, the numbers mean nothing when trying to compare to April or May.
A friends child has worked in a grocery store non stop since the virus has hit. He was having no symptoms but wanted to know. Took the test and had the virus.

Maybe if you rat mother fuckers didn't support massive BLM protests in Houston the numbers wouldn't be what they are?
I don't remember you condemning the protests and the lack of social distancing.

Washington's peak day is 89 for hospitalizations:
