WP admits sources are sketchy with no corroborating information now...
he Washington Post reported on Tuesday that White House officials were first informed in early 2019 of intelligence reports that Russia was offering the bounties to kill U.S. and coalition military personnel, but the information was deemed sketchy and in need of additional confirmation, according to people familiar with the matter.

"The president was not briefed because at the time of these allegations they were uncorroborated," he said. "As a result, the president's career CIA briefer decided not to brief him because it was unverified intelligence, and by the way, she's an outstanding officer, and knowing all the facts I know, I certainly support her decision."

Keep spinning blatant lies against this country because you disagree with policy.

You send your own money to the Iranian Ayatollahs yet? You for the Iranian deal even after they were proven (i.e. not made up shit like this) to be paying bounties against Americans? Since this is such a big deal to you I'm sure you were/are a strong supporter of Trump pulling out of the Iranian deal...right?

Hypocrite...and a extremely dumb one at that...

If it wasn't true then, what makes it true now?

    Unconfirmed doesn't mean untrue.

Do you leave the bath house with a bag of quarters? I hear it's true from an unconfirmed source.

How does that work in a defamation case sparky?

Trump should send Russia a bunch of money to smooth things over like Barry did after Iran was paying the Taliban to kill US soldiers.

2010 Report: Iran pays $1,000 for each U.S. soldier killed by the Taliban
msnbc.com staff and news service reports

Iran is paying Taliban fighters $1,000 for each U.S. soldier they kill in Afghanistan, according to a report in a British newspaper.

The Sunday Times described how a man it said was a "Taliban treasurer" had gone to collect $18,000 from an Iranian firm in Kabul, a reward it said was for an attack in July which killed several Afghan government troops and destroyed an American armored vehicle.

The treasurer left with the cash hidden in a sack of flour, the newspaper said, and then gave it to Taliban fighters in the province of Wardak. In the past six months, the treasurer claimed to have collected more than $77,000 from the company.
