All one needs to know about Irational John Bolton and his book
John Bolton Is Still Mad That Donald Trump Wouldn't Let Him Bomb Iran
”The incident Bolton singles out as "the most irrational thing I ever witnessed any President do," according to The New York Times' review of his book, has nothing to do with Trump asking foreign leaders for political help or cozying up to dictators. No, the worst thing Bolton witnessed Trump do is decide not to start a war with Iran.
"The moment he cites as the real 'turning point' for him in the administration had to do with an attack on Iran that, to Bolton's abject disappointment, didn't happen," writes Jennifer Szalai in the Times' review of the book. "In June 2019, Iran had shot down an unmanned American drone, and Bolton, who has always championed what he proudly calls 'disproportionate response,' pushed Trump to approve a series of military strikes in retaliation. You can sense Bolton's excitement when he describes going home 'at about 5:30' for a change of clothes because he expected to be at the White House 'all night.' It's therefore an awful shock when Trump decided to call off the strikes at the very last minute, after learning they would kill as many as 150 people."
Bolton was plotting to start a war with Iran even before American troops hit the ground in Iraq.

I do not begrudge those who fagged out and looked for every possible way to avoid going to that war. However, why are pussies like this always the first ones who want to put other people in harms way now? I hate people like Bolton. Love how he "supported the war," as long as other people were fighting it. What a piece of shit.
B. Trump's contractor mentality of hiring someone for a specific job and then moving on
C. The positive trait of hiring those you disagree with on staff so you can get a better perspective
D. The positive trait of hiring someone who thinks like your enemy so you can eventually trap your enemy
E. Having little to no previous DC political contacts and taking the first guy that would answer the phone, call this the first time head coach Jimmy Lake problem
F. Trumps team being so disorganized and un-knowledgeable they didnt understand Bolton would clash with Trumps personal politics.
G. The entrenched industrial military complex types pushed Bolton into the admin for personal gain regardless of Trumps politics
H. The admin used Bolton's reputation as "the stick" to push various trade and peace negotiations along with North Korea, Syria, Russia, Iran or China.
I. Trump campaigned on anti war quasi isolationism, then wanted to go to war with everyone for a few months, and then changed his mind back to against war.
J. Trump and admin are complete idiots shotgunning through various Bush holdovers as they still struggle to gain a footing in organizing the State Department.
K. Trump personally sucks at reading and hiring people and just hears a "popular" right wing name and picks him.
L. The Field
Just pick one or more based on a previously held opinion of Trump and then argue about it with some idiot who disagrees.
Side note, I’ve always loved that every person Trump dismisses is a swamp creature.
