    Regressed = Josh Shirley.

    Sorry, but I still think that in the right scheme and with the right coaching, this kid will spend ample time in opposing backfields. He is undersized, but plenty of undersized DEs have succeeded in college with the right schemes and coaching.

    I pray that Petersen can resurrect his career.

    Shirley had no business playing on the d-line, ever. He has all the makings of a Victor Aiyewa type OLB, hopefully he joins Aiyewa in having a solid senior season. I see no reason why someone like Fuimaono should be starting over Shirley.

    That would be too smart.

    I think you'd have to say Sankey, Peters and Jamora progressed. Shelton? There's definitely a handful of players. Just not nearly enough.

    I will be positive, because ... well it is the holiday season.

    Somebody on Sark's staff knew how to develop running backs.

    UW has a rich history of running backs, and to have two of the greatest go back to back ... that doesn't happen by chance.

    Just my thought.

  • The guy that knew how to develop running backs was Joel Thomas. All Nanson did was what Thomas did. Joel, fortunately, could spot a drunk horse trying to get out of town and beat the horse out of the barn.

    Beating the horse out of the barn and right to the slaughter house is not a win.

    Arkansas is a fucking dumpster fire.
