That's why we need to get rid of the police unions. No one in their right mind lets employees decide what they want to do and how to run their department. For some reason, dem cities have had decades to figure that out because they are the smart ones.
Remind me again, which party do these urban police unions usual support? This problem, just like the problems with the teachers unions and all other public employee unions is a Rat party created problem. But what about Trump!!!!

I am ignorant on this topic so you could absolutely be right. I just know the small handful of police unions I've encountered were very red. And my expectation is that most police are very conservative.

My experience is that small town cops definitely are. They tend to think off of experiences dealing with the absolute scum of society, so it is obviously worse by some magnitude for inner city cops. Being an inner city cop shouldn't be a career long thing because of this. At some point you are warped and no longer really serving your community.
It's a good point. If you dealt with that shit daily you'd get pretty biased.
