Hardly a statistical sample, but I had to run some errands and noticed a decent amount of traffic and people running around. Stores were busy and people waiting in line to get in.

Hopefully this is an indication of things to come soon.

I hear there are some incredible sales going on in some inner city chain stores and there is no social distancing or mask-wearing being enforced.

I've heard this too; I'm of the (hopeful) mind that there is a lot of pent-up demand and that the rebound will be swift. It's clear from dead reckoning that people at least want to get out of their fucking houses and start living again. That should help.
