Let's say zero black men died at the hands of the cops every year. Currently the number is ~300/year. (Vs about 600 for whites). And of the 300 there a substantial number are justified. Probably more that 81%. Can someone explain how taking that number to zero will make everything better? I think police brutality is an issue. (You all know my stance on cops). But I'm trying to get my head around how the very small number of people dying as a result of police brutality fixes anything for the average normal citizen. It needs to be dealt with, but the narrative that it's "open season" on black men and they all need to run serpentine to the mailbox isn't helping anyone.
