If we are emphatically canceling the season now, I have a feeling most of the country will find a way to let football happen. If the pac sits out one season, I don’t think it ever recovers.

Definitely. Hardship transfers will be through the roof. Talent drain on coaches and even more loss of prestige and further behind in investment back into program. It’s already happening but it’s going to be even easier for other conferences to gain more footholds in good recruiting areas on west coast.
