Day 20: All of it. Is there any reason to listen to music other than snobbery? Pretty much all my previous entries work. Here's another one:

I was sitting in the balcony because I'm a poor.

Strong pick, Sigur Ros is snobby AF.

    Day 19 - Synth Pop

Uncle Al & Ministry weren’t always a heavy industrial strength metal band. They started out as a nice synth pop outfit.

Haven't heard this in ages, way better than it should be. Thanks.
With Sympathy is an underrated album. It is full of catchy dance songs and I love how Al sings with a fake British accent throughout the entire album.

Btw....did you check out Al's guitar? I think you will appreciate the shoutout.

Niiice. Missed that. I think I have a copy of With Sympathy somewheres. Effigy is a good track too.

Speaking of Uncle Al, is there some affiliation with Al, RevCo, Butthole, and Reverend Horton Heat?

Another Ministry aside, that Luke Perry (RIP) rodeo movie in early 90s had a badass TV ad with Burning Inside as the music. Of course, the movie was shiite and nothing at all like the TV spot.

Day 20: Great Song from a jam band I wouldn’t typically like.

    Not bad.

    I saw them once. Terrible.

I bet. I tried to listen to them after hearing this one and stopped after 3-4 songs. Pretty bad.

Oh yeah! Al cofounded RevCo with the 242 guys back in 1984, since they were label mates on Wax Trax & toured together that year. Gibby Haynes of the Surfers cowrote & shared vocals with Al on the single Jesus Built My Hot Rod. Finally, Al produced The Reverend's Liquor In The Front album. I love that title!! Al has had his hand in so many projects, I can't keep track of them all. You can hear his influence on Skinny Puppy's Rabies album. Not sure if he had any connection to Pigface??

You need to dig out With Sympathy and give it a listen. Revenge and I Wanted To Tell Her were other good trax, too.

I must have missed that TV ad for that rodeo movie. I'll have to Google it!
