    Exactly. Unfortunately our CDC is staffed full of these wannabe alpha males with the same lust for power that they could never earn in the private sector. They had one job to do and they couldn't prepare for a pandemic of limited scope and can't do math worth sh*t. But they got to shut down the country along with the rest of these San Clemente dipshits. Hope the skater bois remember to vote for freedom in the fall.

    It's pervasive - doctors already have a messiah complex to begin with but generally are reigned in with malpractice concerns in the private sector. The government guys are the ones who had no doctor/patient skills and were advised to stay the fuck away from human interaction by their med school professors.

    The CDC guys and state/local health departments across the country were given a dose of power on steroids - and they are enjoying their moment in the sun without any training or experience in leadership, problem solving or resource allocation. Like bulls in a china shop right now.

    See also the field hospital dismantled at Century Link. Inslee didn't think that up on his own. He was being advised by the health 'experts' just how fast the virus would spread and how overwhelmed local hospitals would be based on the now-flawed early UW model.

    I'll bet with 99.9% certainty the State Department of Health or the King County Regional Health Director overseeing this debacle never made one call to Providence to see what their capacity/emergency plans were.

    @Tibbets field skate park the tit-for-tat spat has been comical.

    First, simple printed signs on a few perimeter posts netted on average 1 skater.

    Next came the three layers of Yellow caution tape surrounding the entire park. Typically, this netted 3-5 skaters with the tape on the ground.

    Now? FBA orange plastic construction fencing and last night about a dozen skaters, mostly adults.
