The playbook never changes
https://foxnews.com/politics/schiff-9-11-style-commission-coronavirus-response“After Pearl Harbor and 9/11, we looked at what went wrong to learn from our mistakes,” Schiff tweeted.
“Once we’ve recovered, we need a nonpartisan commission to review our response and how we can better prepare for the next pandemic,” he continued. “I’m working on a bill to do that.”
On the face of it we? should fucking prepare for the next one. Congress should do a non partisan where did we fuck up (we already know, we don't do preparation) and what do we do today for the next one? Reasonable
Except Schiff is a lying sack of shit and there will be nothing non partisan about it just like the 911 commission. Fingers will point, noses will get broken and Congress will do nothing in the end to prepare. We have seen this movie before
If 911 is the guide they will come up with recommendations to take away any freedoms they missed the last time

Not a bad article. I'd say Biden is a worse opponent than Hillary by a lot. She only became the worst candidate ever when she lost. She was the most qualified ever before that
Trump either has a poll gap or people vote for him that don't approve of him
As Nate says, he won with shitty numbers. He can lose by millions in NY and California and get re elected.
Too volatile at this point. He was trying to avoid massive unemployment when he was accused of not taking it seriously
Now he's taking it seriously and the economy is fucked.
My theory is his popularity went up when he started throwing money at it. That's how we take things seriously
If we ever have a campaign there is a lot of shit to throw back at the Democrats
And Joe Biden is my ace in the hole. He can survive as the nominee now because he can stay in hiding
