After two weeks society will calibrate the acceptability level and determine their tolerance for risk of death vs risk of resumption of somewhat normal life.
For them we absolutely have to get it far worse than Italy or Iran because Trump. How could we not? They are hoping and praying for hundreds of thousands of deaths. Millions.
When we end up way better off than Europe they will lose it again. And so the cycle continues. Theyve lost all reason.
If the Dems were serious about winning they would replace Joe with someone else.

I'm basically in the same place at you, which is let's see where we're at in 2 weeks and re-visit. If it's not looking that bad in terms of the strain on the medical system then we need to go to olds and other vulnerables do their distancing, and get the rest of the economy open.
