For some odd reason this story omits a number of relevant facts.
Biden has proposed a new "assault weapons" ban. Biden just announced that Beto, a person who has publicly stated that he wants to confiscate guns, will be his point person on gun issues.
Far from being "full of shit" the guy who questioned Biden has a very legitimate point and Biden should be pressed to answer for it instead of being excused for being an asshole. And it's Joe who doesn't have his facts straight and is lying. He claims the "AR-14" is a machine gun and that they are already illegal. This guys don't even know the weapons they want to ban.

I don't see any statement from Biden that suggests that he's going to repeal the 2nd Amendment or otherwise confiscate guns that are currently owned by private citizens. Feel to free to point me in the right direction if he did in fact say that.
Edit: just saw the video above. I won't run away from this and I'll happily concede that point to you. Whether Biden has it as a platform item or not, he has in fact suggested that he could confiscate assault rifles from private citizens. -
Biden lied about his position when confronted with the facts. He then insulted the person who correctly cited back to him his record and then threaten the person with physical violence.

Pulse check for the Tug: would you repeal the 1986 assault rifle ban?
Personally I'm in favor of the ban, but certainly wouldn't support any measure (like Biden suggested to Cooper) that would entail confiscating existing weapons from citizens that were grandfathered in. -

My contention has always been that most Americans prefer a fight.
Joe has a lot of support and likes to be the tough guy. He would be formidable if he isnt suffering from dementia

Biden doesn't know the trigger pull weight and rifling pattern inside the gun so he doesn't know shit about the guns he's talking about. Great defense Bob.
