Isn't Central the cheapest school in the state? Per UW's own literature, expected first year cost for resident undergrad is $29K. CWU is $25K (I'm shocked it's this high!). Even a partial scholarship might cut that down to $20K or less. That's pretty significant per year.
Still, I'm kind of surprised it's this close. If you really believe in yourself as a football player, to the point where you think you could earn a scholarship at UW, I'm not sure that's a big enough difference to forego the bright lights and better school*.
*Although let's not go knocking Central's lauded Primate Behavior department.

He might have just decided he wants to play.
This. 300 pound Samoans from Bellarmine don’t get overlooked. He very likely sucks.
