New head coach, new offense, new OC, new QB coach, no incumbent starter at QB. Morris and Sirmon will not have the benefit of experience over Garbers in the new offense. They'll all be on level footing coming in, regardless of class, and I expect the competition to be wide open from day one. "Physical readiness" matters less at QB than almost any other position. If Garbers is the best player of the three, I expect Garbers to be the starter against Michigan, let alone at some point in the season.
