Later, as Herbert was answering a question about his legacy, Cristobal leaned down and pulled Rocco close and kissed the kid on the top of his head. And at another point, with Breeze speaking, the coach twisted his body toward his sons and whispered.
“I want you guys," Cristobal told them, "to grow up to be like those guys.”
He was talking about Herbert and Breeze, a few feet away, still in uniform, still walking on Rose Bowl air.

This is some secret sauce? FOE is standard shit in AAU culture. This is wannabe coach/money grab for at least the last decade. Crystalballz didn't invent some secret sauce.
Oregon wins because they have 4 and 5 star talent that got toughened up a little.

Race pointed this out in a thread a few weeks back: the kids want to play for him. They've bought in. Real or imagined, he seems to have credibility with his players. It may not be secret sauce, but's not obvious, it's not found a "how to be a good coach" book and some people can pull it off and some can't.
