I saw that comingGrundleStiltzkin said:RaceBannon said:I was in deep planning for my own logistics. The Main Bedroom golf tournament at 10 AM and staying sober enough for an 8PM game start for the DAWGS with
Bama LSUin between
Pretty easy logistics now. Day drinking for the Main Bedroom golf tourney -

Pretty sweet that we only need to wait four days to see! LSU backed out of the Bama game (with no reschedule possible) and Auburn is free this weekend after their opponent postponed on them.AtomicDawg said:Even though it en route to Slc. Just solve the freaking problem.
Move the game to Sunday.
Get another freight company to help and do a relay. I doNt know but it sounds solvable. I doubt bama or Ohio state takes no for an answer in that scenario.
That's 130 miles as the crow flies. Squaa in truck range. What a bunch of pussies the SEC/Alabama football/people in the southeast are if they can't make that happen! Would be chincompetence of the highest order! SEC! SEC! SEC!

In consultation with someone smarter than me, the O/U on UW games played is 2.

It's not the same scenario. Not even close.
Alabama doesn't need every game possible to hope to maybe get a look from the playoff committee. They have a 10 (now 9) game schedule in a respected conference that guarantees they are in as long as they don't take an L (and maybe not even then). Bama will gladly take a bye and a slight increase in their chances of going undefeated and move forward.
Bama loses literally nothing by losing an away LSU game.
UW loses plenty by losing the Cal game.

LSU is an easy W this year. A scan shows it is being called postponed not cancelled. But it could be cancelled
The other difference is that LSU has a make up game with Florida already so the SEC did build some wiggle in
My point from this summer was that it is ludicrous to try to play with one positive test as the standard be it asymptomatic or not and then contact tracing regardless of positive or negative.
I confess to some surprise that we? got this far with the original leagues playing. The Pac is looking like they waited too long and maybe the B1G too
As we sit here today there is no guarantee that anything happens as planned in college ball. Pretty sure the NFL will find a way -
NFL probably makes it work. They have much more control over their guysm.RaceBannon said:LSU is an easy W this year. A scan shows it is being called postponed not cancelled. But it could be cancelled

And the facts. Lots of prying eyes on the campuses.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Had the PAC started on time the season likely gets 90% played.
