it’s clear that Jackson has the edge. He leads the NFL with 33 touchdown passes, has the third-best passer rating (112.8) and is ninth in completion percentage (66.2%). And then there’s what he does on the ground, ranking eighth in the league with 1,103 rushing yards, which is even more remarkable when you consider that Arizona QB Kyler Murray is the only other non-running back in the top 35 in rushing.

Jake Heaps, one of Wilson’s former backups with the Seahawks, thinks that makes a great case for Wilson’s MVP bid.

I don’t think the Hawks only have 2 PB players or that the Ravens truly have 12, but Lamars OL is insanely good and Russ’ is insanely bad and that makes it at least debatable IMO.

But yeah Lamars gonna win it.

How often do you see 10 game winning streaks in the NFL? Jackson is easily the MVP, but Wilson is the better QB. Wilson has been great this year, but not as great his past 5 games (played well at CAR).

This. I would rather have Russ, but Jackson has had the better season. He’s played great.
