Doogin Fridays... bring in Tui as TE coach

It would be a lateral move from Cal but after listening to the pod I agree that our current TE coach is crap and we need some new energy in that position.

Tui is a winner.

    It’s probably the least important coach in the staff along with RB, but the reasons for canning him are all sizzle reasons. Don’t care either way, just saying.
  • Will he roam the sidelines?

    Hey old man who's your better idea?

    Doog Harder.

    TUI -> OC
    + TedFord -> OConsultant
    + JACK LOCKNER ‐> QB Coach
    + Gerald Alexander ‐> WR Coach
    = Ty Jones Hiesman

    You can't argue with my math, Dr. Matthew Conroy reviewed it and agrees the logic is flawless.

    Benji Olsen for O line coach

    Good point. I overlooked the OLine. Since we have a free coaching spot still, I think I will go with 2 oline coaches.

    TUI -> OC
    + TedFord -> OConsultant
    + JACK LOCKNER ‐> QB Coach
    + Benji Olsen-> Interior OL Coach
    + OSSAI -> Exterior OL Coach
    + Gerald Alexander ‐> WR Coach
    = Ty Jones Hiesman

    Was that hostile? ...not intended. Apologies.

    2012 GA TE coach: ASJ 69 rec, 863 yrds, 7 TD
    2013 TE coach: ASJ 36 rec, 450 yrds, 8 TD

    ASJ broke/set the UW record for season (69) and career (110) receptions; season (850) and career (1,388) yards; and career (13) touchdowns by a tight end.

    2014 TE coach: Perkins
    2015 TE coach: Perkins, Darrell Daniels
    2016 TE coach: Daniels, Sample, Dissly
    2017 TE coach: Dissly, H. Byrant, Sample, Kizer
    2018 TE coach: Sample, Byrant, Otton, Kizer
    2019 TE coach: Byrant, Otton, Kizer

    - ASJ played well when he wasnt drunk, set records at UW, and got paid in the NFL
    - Perkins was fine and is playing in the NFL
    - Daniels was fine and is playing in the NFL
    - Drew Sample was great and drafted in the 2nd round
    - Will Dissly was great and drafted in the 4th round and looks great in the NFL when not injured
    - Byrant has played really well
    - Otton looks like a star

    Almost every TE he has touched has both played well for us AND is playing in the NFL

    He is a TE coach, so its not the end of the world, but Paopao has literally churned out the best, most consistent position group on the offense since 2012, and some fucktard idiots act like he is terrible...

    When guys like DDY say they are "process orientated" they really just mean "recruiting obsessed", which is why guys that field the worst position groups but recruit well like Huff and Adams get a pass and guys that have had very high success position groups on the field but dont recruit all that well like Boner or Paopao get skewered by them.

    You were probably convinced by their strawman sparring against the fictional doog that thinks talent doesnt matter at all too...

    When Emptamann roamed the sidelines it was amazing. He’s a scary man.

    So ASJ should be TE coach!
    ASJ should be Black TE Coach only. Keep PaoPao for White TE. We would really be innovating on offense side again being the first school with 2 TE Coaches and 2 Oline Coaches!
