Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
This isn't taking over the vaunted Canes in 2001 or even Ryan Day taking over Ohio State. One loss and the honeymoon is over for good. This isn't even Lambo following James after three straight league titles and a Natty.
This is our top recruiter taking over a 7-5 team with blue chips galore lined up and ready to step up. We hope. Petersen was not a great game day coach. Neither is Lake quite honestly. This is the best way to get him out of the DC spot
Petersen didn't win big games. He didn't have the team ready to play, There was no fire. Fans were pissed.
I get the whole be careful what you hope for thing. It's scary. But I like our chances with Jimmy. I just do.

Lake has 10 times the energy, sticks his chest out willing to deal with the media and boosters. I don't think he is interested in beta mentality. He has extremely high standards for the defense. Hopefully, he changes the home game intro to the Lawyer Milloy video. The pregame video is hot garbage. Images of seaplanes are useless for a football game.
He will set the standard quickly for this team.
Took over another low bar after Helfrich took the bullet for following Chip

Beat Cuog. Nothing else matters.
Or not. But seriously. My cuog counterparts are the first thing I thought about.
We were supposed to but we lacked ambition I’m told.
21 point margin or go home is where I want the bar set.
Think we’ve found our comp...
Huard, Smalls, and the rest of the recruits are 2 rows in front of me and they leave for the Anthem, could (Hi, Damone!) care less about the flyover, and the “Greatest Setting,” doesn’t even register.
Why the fuck would it? They’ll be playing, not drinking and boating.
Best they could hope for is that 20 years later, and they would be surrounded by scarf wearing Amazonian and Microsoft shit heads.
Seattle is a soft, pussy city that likes soccer.
Columbus, OH, and Norman, OK, do not have “sailgating,” but they take their shit seriously.
Actually, it’s the weak way out of any discussion nowadays, and it is Oregon, so nevermind
