I kinda wonder.....

Maybe Peterman is going back to Boise. Bryan Harsin is being mentioned for a ton of jobs.

He drives a boat to work and lives in a bitchin house on Lake Washington. I am sure the Boise dirt and sand is very tempting.

I'll put on my doog hat and add that he really was the model of what a man should be and a fantastic mentor for every athlete in his program. That's a very rare thing to find in a position of high profile, high earnings, and power. Most guys in that position have sacrificed some level of morality to get to where they were, and maybe I'm just naive, but I never felt like Petersen ever had to make that sacrifice. I'm really disappointed that I'll never get to see him really put his stamp on this program or have a legacy-defining win here, but I admire the shit out of him.

The program hit it's ceiling in 2016, and basically plateaud after that. But Pete gets respect for raising the program during his tenure.
Credit Pete for looking down the road, not seeing easy fixes, and recognizing that significantly revamping his offense and program was too big of a chore for him while competing against an improving Pac12, with an OC publicly admitting he fucked up by not playing younger, better players.
So many choices and decisions to make that the Null Option became Pete's Best Option.

Thanks for not being Gilbertson or Willingham? UW deserves better than what Pete could deliver. Hell Nueheisel did almost exactly what Pete did in his first 4 years. The UW football program should want more than mediocrity.
