Closing the gates will surely stop the drift towards socialism

It worked well @oregonblitzkrieg when we closed the gates from 1924- 65.

- Social Security Act, 1935
- The Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 which created the Community Action Program, Job Corps and Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA), centerpiece of the "war on poverty" – August 20, 1964
- Food Stamp Act of 1964 – August 31, 1964[3]
- Elementary and Secondary Education Act – April 11, 1965
- Social Security Act 1965 (Created Medicare and Medicaid) – July 19, 1965

Roosevelt was a flaming socialist. But you know what I'm talking about when I refer to socialism/communism, it's a whole different brand in Latin America. Venezuela is a case in point.

The latino racist claims its not in the DNA. But is this really true? Why are 80 to 90 percent of Latin American countries (including Mexico) either socialist or communist?

It takes no great leap of logic to conclude that importing the cultures that produce these failed social and economic systems on a massive scale via open borders will end in the same result here.

80 - 90% of Latina America counties are not Communist Socialist you racist fuck. “It’s in their DNA”. No...you’re not racist. You just think you’re superior. Ignorant racist fuck.

The regional grouping, called the Union of South American Nations, was founded in 2008 and funded by Hugo Chavez’s then-oil rich Venezuela. The group aimed at spreading Chavez’s “socialism for the 21st century” throughout South America.”

“In the years since Chavez’s death and the destruction of Venezuela by his socialist policies, the rest of South America has wised up and elected center-right presidents in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. All of them favor market democracy over socialist populism.”

@Dennis_DeYoung had a great post a while back on why some countries are very corrupt and why others are less so. The short answer: Protestant countries way less corrupt the Catholic ones. https://hardcorehusky.com/discussion/comment/676144#Comment_676144

If you look at corruption ranking (worldbank is fine) and per capita GDP in the world, the correlation is like -.85. The only other factor that moves the needle much is oil wealth (hence why Alaska, North Dickcota and Wyoming aren't on the shit-bag list for the US).

Also, if you look out at the world, the major economic story of the world is pretty much this: shit happened, then protestants happened, this tamped corruption down severely and taught people to read, then you had the enlightenment and industrial revolution. This is where all the fucking world GDP comes from.

Outside of countries with either deep protestant trading ties or majority protestants (this has been shown in an excellent 2000 paper at the fucking COUNTY level), there is only ONE FUCKING CUNTRY that has a good economy (and they are also without severe corruption; every place is corrupt, it's just the severity that makes such a big difference): JAPAN.

(Every other country with a decent economy can be directly tied to protestant involvement at some point)

Japan has been the only country to get rid of corruption without the PWE and Germany fucking invented it.

The protestant Germans are sofa king good at life that they rose out of the ashes twice to become dominant. After 1945 they rose so fucking hard, they merged with shit-ball EGerm (who had been infiltrated by corrupt shit-ball commies) and their PCGDP is STILL one of the best in the world. They are basically 15k ahead of East Germany in PCGDP to this fucking day.

It's amazing what you can do when you have a literate, education population who aren't corrupt.

I think you’ve been wooshed if you believe DDY is racist in real life.
Sounds familiar. But I have no intention of looking into the context behind his posts, or the actual meaning of the things he's said. I'm only interested in finding racism where it may not actually exist, and then calling people racists in order to smear them. Whether or not he's an actual racist doesn't really matter.

I just want to be like Mike.

As Venezuela implodes before our eyes, one cannot overstate the destruction, suffering, and deceit stemming from socialism in Latin America.

Socialism’s centralized economic planning and violations of property rights have brought crushing poverty to Cuba, hyperinflation and chaos to Venezuela, and moral degradation to Argentina. To maintain this inhumane system of redistribution and monopolization—as people resist and flee— regimes throughout Latin America have resorted to either dictatorships, such as in Nicaragua, or flagrant violations of free speech and association, such as in Ecuador and Bolivia.

The proof is in the pudding: Latin Americans continue to leave in droves for North America and Europe, most never return. More than 600,000 Venezuelans have fled the dictatorship since Hugo Chávez took power in 1999, and they are number one for asylum applications in the United States and Spain.

Not only do Latin Americans leave, so do foreign investors, if they ever considered the region in the first place. After 500 years of state oppression, these economies find themselves starved of human and physical capital, struggling with levels of poverty and lawlessness inconceivable to most people in the developed world. With few exceptions, such as Chile, they have little choice but to rely on natural-resource extraction, although the nationalized revenues get diverted to corruption, unsustainable entitlements, and pet projects, if not poached outright.

    Authoritarian Rule

Latin American nations have taken socialism to its logical conclusion—authoritarian rule.

Take a look at rankings of economic freedom and ease of doing business. You’ll find the likes of Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, and Bolivia all classified as “least free” by the Fraser Institute of Canada. Those at the heart of the socialist Bolivarian Alliance are the worst, and Cuba can’t even be ranked. She barely has a private sector to speak of, and any organization with integrity refuses to parrot the regime’s phony statistics.

The end of the road is Cuba, admired by so many socialists throughout Latin America and now under the reign of Raúl Castro, the younger brother of Fidel. If you publicly oppose the regime, expect to end up in prison or be assassinated, as happened to my friend’s father, Oswaldo Payá, a peaceful activist for democracy.

The regime’s petty tyrants are so hostile to the truth getting out about their paraíso socialista that they arrest a group of women, the Ladies in White. What is their crime? These wives and relatives of political prisoners march along Havana’s filthy, broken streets on their way to church and call attention to the injustice. In Cuba as in China, the truth is something socialists and communists can’t handle

@Baseman maintains that 95% of Americans are struggling to make ends meet. Please to be explaining why America should open its borders even wider and import unskilled Latin American migrants who offer this country nothing, except competition for jobs and resources. We already know why Mike Damone and Baseman want open borders. For the cheap labor.

I just completed and sold a $340,000 home to a young couple with small kids. Both parents have decent jobs (he's a young engineer three years out of school she's a mid-level manager in the service)

I employ an American foreman/handyman, contract out to a handful of trusted subs who own their business, and a pair of Latinos.

Everyday when my American foreman showed up, the Latinos were waiting, ready for work. They bust their ass. They do the job right and they finish on or before deadline. They aren't cheap, they are more efficient and a pleasure to work with.

American construction workers for the most part are entitled, lazy, and dishonest. They take forever, their work is subpar and they want money upfront, even if you supply materials. So yeah, I prefer Latinos--trustworthy, polite, and always eager for more work. They've NEVER disappointed. EVER

And my young American buyers? They got a new to them first time home. I included brand new appliances (manufactured overseas) --fridge, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and oven, items they could never afford after they cobbled together their down payment.

Had I relied exclusively on Americans and American manufactured products the house would have cost tens of thousands more and taken a month or more longer to finish.

I delivered the American dream. Everybody won, except for the entitled tards who happen to be Americans with their handout, looking for another score. They should LEAVE the country and let my Latinos take their place

My crew is anxiously awaiting my next acquistions, as are the next round of first time homebuyers my crew and I will delight when they buy their Base home.
