kind of interesting is how many games some teams play against teams coming off the bye.
Only 3 teams have winning records UW, Arizona, and Stanford (this one is unbelievable) with teams coming off the bye

Anyway here is the numbers - first number is coming off a bye and second is opponent coming off a bye.
For instance in 2012 UW vs Stan was a Thirstday night game and technically I have them both coming off a bye week - so UW gets a win for both coming off the bye and for against a team coming off a bye. Don't like it - do you're own numbers.

South

UofA coming off the bye 5-5, when opponent comes off a bye 6-3
ASU 4-7, 4-6
Col 2-4, 2-8
Utah 4-5, 2-3
USC 8-3, 4-4
UCLA 3-8, 6-10

NOrth

UW 10-2, 8-6
WSU 4-8, 1-4
Cal 5-6, 6-6
Stan 10-1, 11-1
Ore 9-3, 5-6
OSU 5-7, 4-5

UW has never played the Yoots coming off a bye either way before this weekend. The numbers from 2008-2012 so the yoots and buffs don't have the same numbers. UCLA got screwed with the teams coming off the bye week 16 times. Wazzou only 5 times. Larry Scott rools I think.

It’s pretty stupid of Scott not to favor USC, Oregon, and UW with scheduling. Those are the teams that have fans that will actually travel to the PAC 12 title and bowl games.

I have no idea if they do, but I would assume the SEC does it with Bama. The Big 10 with Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State.

Larry Scott is a moron. He’s a fucking disaster. I remember when Kim and others were so excited about him taking over for Hansen.

Pete's 5-0 record = what you'd expect, even from a shit coach. The 2015 win over USC is a good win. The rest of those teams are trash with shit records.

    2018 OSU 1-8
    2017 UCLA 4-5
    2016 OSU 3-6
    2015 USC 6-3
    2014 Cal 3-6

Pete’s success in bowel games suggests there isn’t much more here than sample size effects.

since I have trouble reading my own data - I thought I would modify this a little more

EDIT: @CFetters_Nacho_Lover thanks - @dnc did not include bowel games because we lose those and it is buy weeks for both teams

Utah is 1-4 at home coming off a bye week - and they lost to the Huskies in 2011
the Yoots are 3-1 on the road coming off a bye week
They beat Michigan, OSU, and split with ASU (losing last year) the only home win was against Cal in 2015

Utah playing teams coming off a bye (PAC12 only) is 3-2 - home losses to USC and UCLA, wins (A) OSU, (H) COL, and (A) ASU - so 1-2 at home and 2-0 away

The UW is 10-2 coming off the bye - haven't lost since 2009. 6-1 at home and 4-1 on the road.
USC away 2-0, buffs and beavs 2-0 at home, UCLA and Stanford 1-1 loss is away, Cal and Illinois 1-0 both away games.

    UW is 8-6 playing against PAC 12 teams coming off a bye: ASU (A) loss, UofA (H) 2 wins (A) 2 losses, USC (A) win, Stan (H) 1 win, (A) 1 loss, OSU (A) win, ORE (H and A) 0-2, WSU (H and A) 2-0 Utah (A) win.
