Authoritarian - The far left wants to confiscate guns, restrict free speech, scale back constitutional rights.
Ultranationalism - The far left wants to stay in Syria, topple Assad and continue the never ending wars in the Middle East. It doesn't get any more ultra nationalist than to militarily intervene in the domestic affairs of another sovereign nation for no good reason.
Dictatorial Power - The far left craves this more than anything else. So much so that they used government institutions to try to stage a coup against an elected President. They are still trying.
Forcible Suppression of Opposition - The far left utilizes the Antifa blackshirt fascists to violently attack anyone who opposes their agenda.
Strong Regimentation of Society and the Economy - The far left seeks to divide and regiment society into opposing groups based on race, gender, wealth and other categories. The far left wants a Soviet style economy managed by their own intelligentsia.

Conclusion: The far left movement in this country is fascist in nature.
