    Herbert had to come back just to beat UW by 4 and get no closer to the playoff? The same Herbert who was so mediocre as a junior that he couldn't enter the draft? The same Herbert who anyone with eyes watching looked worse than Eason? The same Herbert who looked pedestrian against a Husky secondary that gave up 300 yards to Davis fucking Mills?

    The fact that this was a 4-point win where Oregon had to go for it on 4th down from their 35 against THIS UW squad is embarrassing.

    Anyone who watched this game knows Oregon is a pretender regarding anything that matters. The win got you no respect and frankly made you look worse.

    This isn't a good UW football team and Oregon could only beat them by 4 with a supposed top 5 draft pick at QB and 4 seniors on the O-line, 2 supposed all-americans, and a D that was supposed to be "shutdown." Huge win for the Ducks... just huge. You must be so proud.

    Oregon wins 7 games next year. Book it.

    Here's my take. College Football is a wild game. Teams get up and down every week.

    If a team has a significant talent advantage, they tend to overcome down weeks. Look at UK @ Georgia. Into the 3rd quarter, it was 0-0 and Georgia hadn't run a play on UK's side of the field. Their first play on UK's side came after a shanked punt. Georgia ended up winning 21-0.

    Look at UW vs Stanford or vs Oregon. I think UW has a slight overall talent advantage but it's not Georgia over UK talent. On a down week vs Stanford, UW got their shit pushed in. On an up week against Oregon, it came down to the very end.

    Peterman's record vs Stanford and Oregon is terrible but it's not the whole story. Yes, our? team is mentally weak and has had a significant positional weakness almost every year under Pete. Things are trending upward but we're? loosers until we're not.

    Herbert was terrible for a stretch in the first half. He was more clutch than Eason and did make big throws under heavy duress. Credit where it’s due.
