    Also all we heard was how the receivers were being trained to attack the ball. Snatch and run. Jesus christ I haven't seen one time when a wideout snared a ball aggressively, turned upfield and fucking ran. This team fucking blows

    The fact that WR group regressed with the same players being now seniors (sans Ty Jones who wasn't much a factor in the latter half of last year and we got Chico back) is sure proof the dude can't coach. All the drops and the decision of keeping playing Opera Singer is maddening. Lots of people criticize Peterman for our talented young players not getting playing time. While his fucktard offense complexity might have something to do with it, philosophically he was certainly not against playing freshmen/underclassmen, quite the contrary. Defensive side needed no further proof. Even on offense, Sox, Gaskin Adam, Harris even Fuller are all examples that Freshmen do get their chances. So at least a huge part of the blame should fall squarely on Junior who either is unable to coach up or unwilling to play the young WRs who clearly had better raw talent.

    Who regressed? They are all who we thought they are.

    The question is, as Mike Vorel laid out, why aren’t any of the freshmen being given a chance to see what they have?

    I don't think he really has much say in playing Opera. Petersen almost certainly dictates that seniors must play.

    Opera Singer for as bad as he had always been, I don't remember he dropped this many balls in the years past. Fuller's drop certainly increased as well. My eyes are as bad as granpasankey when it comes to route running, but blocking seemed to have gotten worse.

    Not playing the freshmen WRs got to have a lot to do with Junior. I don't think Pete micromanage decisions on in game personnel levels but more importantly as I already pointed out, we play plenty of underclassmen on the defensive side and offensive side as well. In fact, Puka is getting playing time but not utilized as a weapon but instead we kept going to Opera Singer on critical downs (HamdanFS?).
