Because the defense can bait our offense doing what they want because they know it’s all dictated on how they play us. Our offense sets no tempo or controls anything. It hasn’t for years. That’s why there is never any consistency.

The worst part is that Stanford did not show us what an "alpha" offense looks like. Don't be fooled, Stanford is still very awful. Getting torched by high octane offenses like Penn State and OSU was one thing. But we just got rag dolled by a horrible offense with half their starters missing.

Define "working." One of those times it didn't was a red zone fumble that killed a potential scoring drive. That package is run almost exclusively on 3rd/4th and less than 2 (the one time it wasn't was aforementioned fumble). Know what else works 81% of the tim on and-ones? Everything.

The wildcat isn't the problem with this offense. It's waaaaaay down the list. Doesn't mean it can't still be stupid.
