In the context of his family situation (as i've read it) i'm not surprised at that avoidance behavior.

This is a 17 year old kid in high school man.

Adults on a college football fansite touching the dregs of humanity (hi hardcore husky!) can't realistically expect teenagers to act like wizened adults.

yeah, I wished he followed through with UW and was anchoring this defensive line ... but it is what it is. He got caught in the middle of snake oil salesman and immigration promises and coffee cups and all that good stuff. You think a 17 year old is gonna make what we think is the "right" decision? Legally, he's not even a damn adult yet.

Marlon could have walked away from Peterman but he also chose to embrace him. I think if he could turn back the clock without restraints he would have been a Husky.
