I can't remember if we put it in the book or not, but when Hoffmann and I were conducting our long form discussions for our book, he talked about the helmet being utilized as a weapon and a missile.

As a freshman in high school, at the first practice my celebrated OL coach told us that the rule we'd been following about not hitting with your helmet is strictly for fags, and that as an OL the proper way to engage your opponent is simultaneously with your helmet and your hands.

If we want to reduce brain injuries, get rid of the helmet-weapon, at least as it is now.

Loved Hoffmann. He was a nasty as he could be, within the rules (mostly). Don James' try hard white guy > Pete's.

I saw Borghi truck Hufanga last year. I believe he’s good tho. Starter as a true freshman.

My take on that is DDY was laughing at the cuogs who were saying Borghi is another Chris Mccaffery and not so much that Borghi sucks.
