Did everybody notice how much time UW spent in dime personnel against Hawai’i? And that McDuffie, not Hampton, was the 6th DB?

I think it all has to do with gender and race. Chris Petersen in general supports the patriarchy, and because he controls the offense, the offense reflects his commitment to the patriarchy where lineage is paramount, time in the system prioritized. This comes from his upbringing in that bastion of privilege, Yuba City.
Jimmy Lake rejects the patriarchy and the DB room reflects that. There is no privilege just competition. The best player whoever he, she or zhe may be will play irregardless.
