Freshman Participation through 3 games

Through 3 games, we've had 28 freshmen (both True and Redshirt play). Here is some info:
Four true freshman have played in all 3 games: Cam Williams, Puka, McDuffie, and Tim Horn. No way are they redshirting this year.
Four true freshman have played in 2 games: Latu, Turner, Tuputala, and Tuitele. Only Latu played against Cal, which makes me believe he'll lose his redshirt this year. I'd wager that Turner, Tuputala, and Tuitele end up redshirting.
Noa Ngalu, Jacob Bandes, and Sama Paama all have played in 1 game, and will most certainly end up redshirting.
Eleven scholarship true freshman have not seen the field yet this year, but that doesn't automatically mean they won't see the field at some point. In 2018, the first year with this new redshirt rule, we saw a number of true freshman play in the latter half of the year. However, at this point, they'll almost certainly end up redshirting, too.
In terms of redshirt freshman, we've had 11 play in all 3 games, 5 in 2 games, and 1 in 1 game. The only redshirt freshman yet to appear this season are Irvin and Lowe, and both played last year (Irvin in 4 games, Lowe in 2).
