It seems unlikely the unchanged best defensive coaching staff in CFB forgot how to coach.
We can have a dream that Tryon learns the position (isn't he some kind of football tyro?), along with Kyler and Cam growing into the roles.
But, Manu and Wellington are fucking atrocious, and there ain't no help in sight. Their fits and getting sucked up into the LOS time and again almost makes me think the best option would be going with the WSU formation of 7 DBs and no ILBs.
@backthepack and @GrundleStiltzkin what's wrong with Danny Hammers? He's not even been in pads yet this year. If he's half the stud the bao down boyz suggested he is, he can't be appreciably worse than how those two have been. -

I will say we miss BBK more than anyone seems to be acknowledging. -

We lost 9 starters on defense. If people thought they were going to dominate out of the gate they were dreaming. This was always going to take a little time.
I still expect it to click. This defense has worked too well for too long for it not to.
