Everything was promoted as the scrimmage starting at 1 pm and a BBQ being served. I showed up around 12:30 expecting a small line. Sure enough the line was huge to get into the stadium and they had just two gates running to let people in. From there, I walk into the stadium to get the food and it's all cold and their BBQ is simply just hot dogs with some really crappy chicken sandwiches. Then, this scrimmage actually started at 11:30 and so anyone that showed up on time or just before already missed everything. We were regulated to watching the third string. No offense to those guys because I know they are scholarship players and what not, but we came to get an early look at the starters and the top reserves. I dont even care about the play calling and not wanting to show something that could tip off the game plan. Hell, dont even do a scrimmage if that's the case.
It was so poorly run that I am really upset. I would have rather seen them do nothing then promote this event as a BBQ and a scrimmage, because it was a complete waste of my day. Total waste of time. -

K: Henry
QB: Skinny
RB: Everyone.gif
WR: Fuller, Opera, McKlutchens ---- yet Puka looks like 1a and Jordan Chin (lol) 1b. Trey Lowe too, point? oh.
TE: no Black Beast but these guys dominated.
OL: Ready to Rumble? Ready to Rumble!
DL: Amazing
Buck: Wow
ILB: [redacted]
DBs: A+ Cam is really everywhere, Turner not ready to play yet. Who cares? Gluttony of riches.
P: Yikes
PR: Fuller (Yawn), Chico or Lowe...yes please!
KR: Probably best just to take the touchback... -
In sum, offense is still going to suck but we* might get a couple more field goals.DoogCourics said: -

S/O to @DefinitelyNotCoker for pointing this out but our DBs are so good that we had Keith Taylor playing robber in our dime package. He’s not even playing corner when we go dime.
Our DL is young in the depth but Levi, Benning, Tuli, and Taki are going to be fun to watch this year. Ngata smoked Hilbers all day. Tryon is different different. Latu is i can’t even describe him, he’s going to be so good. Latu is going to get major run this year. He’s a game changer for us...
Sirmon needs to beat out Manu and our front seven will be so salty.
