Players that didn't match the hype?

What player for UW never matched the recruiting hype? For me it would be Donny Mateaki and Francisco Tipoti.

I thought Mateaki was going to be a beast on the DL and Tipoti would be a starter from day 1.

Yawn...overdone thread? Try "who is your favorite husky ever"? No, that thread has been bloodied and bruised. Ok, "which husky exceeded expectations"? That one has only been threaded 500 timez over the last 30 years. Be original, it helps propgate new discussion the forum

Btw Mateaki was all muscle, no tecnique...but played ok as an upperclassman
